An exciting opportunity has become available for a Specialist Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an Independent Garage, located in Thirsk.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits:

Basic salary of up to around £38,000
NO Weekend Working
Monday to Friday: 08:30-17:30, with an hour for lunch.
Work for a garage with dealership level diagnostic tools and a reputation for fixing things that others can't

A great working atmosphere Duties include but are not limited to:

Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
Completing advanced jobs, such as tuning, retro-fitting, engine work, track and race work.Requirements:

A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Prior experience within a Garage, or Main Dealer.
A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
Dedicated and committed approach.
Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
Your own Vehicle Technician toolsThe salary of this role is up to £38,000 basic with OTE of £40,000.

Hours of work for this Specialist Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30 - no weekend working!
