We are assisting a local supplying company in their search for a Customer Service Representative in Beaver, PA for a direct hire opportunity

This position is responsible for reviewing and processing sales orders. The Customer Service Representative will develop, manage, and maintain strong working relationships with customers, and sales reps. The execution of the Customer Service Respresentative's daily activities will result in total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities for the Customer Service include:

  • Perform contract review to verify that orders are consistent with quotations and correctly satisfy customer needs and purchase order requirements.
  • Communicate with customers, sales agents, and Customer Service Team to resolve customer contract discrepancies.
  • Perform Customer order entry in SAP system with orders received by email, fax, or phone
  • Obtain logistics/freight quotes for purchased materials sourced to fulfill a customer Sales Order
  • Review BOL, COA, and SDS to accurately and correctly update to the customer file and communicate to the manufacturing source or supplier as appropriate.
  • Send order verifications to customers and sales agents upon completion of order entry. Send out monthly service invoices
  • Field calls from customers and field sales.
  • Perform customer follow-up as required.
  • Assist with entering of customer information into internal databases
  • Provide order status updates to customers and sales reps. Monitor open oders
  • Assist the Customer Service, Sales, and Technology Teams with administrative activities
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Associates Degree
  • Two years of prior customer service, inside sales, or equivalent commercial experience
  • A positive attitude and an ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Skills and Abilities
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to understand products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP systems) for sales order entry, customer maintence, and consignment billing
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute multiple assignments
  • Ability to provide superior attention to detail
  • Hazardous shipping knowledge a plus.. Completing Import/Export paperwork a plus
