LOCATION: (Remote) Covering Yorkshire & the Midlands

A growing Hull based renewables business are growing their commercial HVAC Team by recruiting for strong Sales Engineers who can manage enquiries for large scale UK wide projects as well as develop new business in the HVAC space.

The Successful Sales Engineer will report in to the National Sales Manager and be responsible for the following:

* Managing a pipeline of sales enquiries and opportunities through qualification, proposal, quote management, and booking of the work to achieve orders and gross margin targets

* Proactively identifying project opportunities in your target area through sales strategy including specifier and sub contractor relationships, networking, lunch and learns and becoming a recognised referral partner

* Managing the execution of the project through to install and servicing.

* Managing overall scope of the contract proposals, looking at large multi million pounds projects for both public and private sector entities

* Assist in identifying specification issues or interpretation discrepancies and providing solutions to resolve.

* Providing accurate forecasting to senior leadership team

* Developing their service contracts offering

* Continuing to maintain and develop supplier relationships with an eye on growing the supplier portfolio

Sales Engineer Requirements

This role is a great fit for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships with the ability to hold technical conversations on complex HVAC solutions. This is the ideal role for those that are goal - orientated and are adept at assessing and understanding the immediate needs of customers.

* Experience in a HVAC Commercial role

* Experience working with specifiers, contractors and consultancies

* Self-motivated and able to manage many multiple projects and pipeline at one time autonomously

* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close opportunities

* An engineering related degree would be desirable

* Experience using a systems (Hubspot desirable)

Sales Engineer Benefits

Renumeration of £60,000 - £65,000 plus a quarterly bonus scheme, a car allowance, laptop & phone, annual leave, pension, death in service and a health plan.
