Reports to: Production Support Manager
Repair surface finish of aviation components and sub-parts per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications and Standard Practices Manual (SPM). Repair fiberglass housings per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications. Prepare parts for painting process using body fillers, glazing putty, sanding, masking, cleaning. Maintains back shop cleanliness, clean room, media blast area and other assigned duties.

Keep painting equipment operational by following manufacturers operating and care guidelines; complete operator repairs and part replacements.
Maintain safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Prep and paint various units in an efficient manner using rework instructions and complete jobs to specifications.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Other duties as assigned
GED or High School Diploma. Solid work ethic and dependability required. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. 2 + years of Industrial spray painting experience strongly preferred. Good mechanical skills.
