Assembly Technician x3 - 6-12 Month Contract - Immediate Start

£12.29 - £13.29 DOE - PAYE + Holiday Pay - 36 Days from Day One

Regular Overtime - Paid at Enhanced Rates

5D are proud to be working with an engineering business who have been established for over 75 years. World leaders in the design and manufacture of power generation and switchgear products they supply into a variety of sectors including data centres, offshore, as well as hospitals, schools, and other public buildings.

They have developed a new product line, and sales have exceeded all expectations. As a result we are looking to recruit a number of assembly technicians to cope the increased demand.

What the Role Will Involve:

* Working from engineering drawings and assembly instructions to build assemblies, and sub-assemblies on the businesses most successful product line.

* Using hand tools such as pot-rivet guns & drills.

* Bolting in sub-assemblies into main assemblies and chassis.

* Measuring and cutting metal including copper and mild steel.

What we are Looking in a Candidate:

* Mechanical assembly experience, ideally working with assemblies, and sub-assemblies.

* Can read engineering drawings, general arrangement drawings, and work from SOP's and assembly instructions.

* Engineering/assembly experience.
