Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

* Preventative Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine and reactive maintenance on foundry equipment and machinery, ensuring efficient and continuous operation.

* Electrical Systems Expertise: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including motors, control panels, PLCs, and automated systems.

* Interpret Electrical Drawings: Read and work from detailed electrical engineering schematics for installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.

* Health & Safety: Adhere to safety standards and best practices, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

The Ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

* Experience: Proven background as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within a foundry, heavy industrial, or manufacturing setting.

* Technical Skills: Strong understanding and practical experience with electrical systems, including fault-finding, wiring, and control systems.

* Drawings Interpretation: Ability to accurately read and work from complex electrical engineering drawings.

* Qualifications: Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent) are essential.
