The company is a food manufacturing business operating out of the Wigan area, they pride themselves on quality and the growth they are seeing, they are now looking for a senior manager to join them on this journey.

You will have experinece in a similar role in a food production business, ideally at a shift manager level or equivalent. Experience in meat processing, specifically chicken (not a kill site) woud be advantageous but not essential. You will have managed KPI's for a team, controlled raw materials and been involved in training before.

The role

Upon aplication I can get a Job description across to you. Responsible for the safe and efficient manufacture of all products in the factory processing units. To direct the Staff and install best manufacturing practices within the Production units and always accepting responsibility for quality. Organise the staffing issues on a day to day basis sticking to the agreed manning levels. Produce to plan but always looking to improve production throughputs and methods. Be responsible for site Security and accurate Production recording.
