Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

We are working with a Warwick based organistion who are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established finance team and take ownership of a large, complex payroll function within a supportive environment.

Reporting to the Foundation Director of Finance, you will lead the payroll function and manage a small team, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a small payroll team
  • Overseeing payroll for circa 1,000 employees
  • Managing payroll processes including pensions and benefits administration
  • Handling pension remittance, auto-enrolment and compliance requirements
  • Preparing and submitting monthly and annual returns
  • Managing year-end payroll processes
  • Supporting system upgrades and improvements
  • Ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance and continuous process improvement

Essential experience:

  • Solid payroll management experience
  • Experience managing pensions within payroll
  • Ability to lead and support a small team

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of iTrent payroll system
