SEN Teacher - Specialist ASD School in Ealing

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best in a supportive and structured environment. Working alongside therapists, teaching assistants, and senior leaders, the SEN Teacher will play a key role in promoting communication, independence, and life skills.

The successful SEN Teacher will:

Create and deliver individualised learning programmes tailored to each student's EHCP

Use a range of creative teaching methods to support pupils with ASD and complex needs

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic development

Build strong relationships with parents and carers, fostering a community approach to progress

Required Skills & Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)

Previous experience as an SEN Teacher within an SEN or ASD setting

A strong understanding of autism and communication-focused teaching strategies

Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation techniques

Commitment to professional development as an SEN Teacher

A compassionate, flexible, and resilient approach to teaching
