Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Rugby, currently looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher for an immediate start. This is a full-time position, available on a long-term or permanent basis, depending on your preference and experience.

About the Role:

Teach engaging and inclusive lessons in History, Geography, or RE across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan and deliver lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning

Monitor student progress and tailor support to ensure all learners succeed

Contribute to curriculum development and participate in department planning

Play a role in wider school life, including clubs, trips, or enrichment activities

Foster a supportive and respectful classroom environment

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification

A background in one or more Humanities subjects

Experience teaching at secondary level and a commitment to high standards

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life

Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers
