gap technical are proud to be representing a national food manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a modern facility near Wrexham.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns to support the manufacturing process.
Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks and implement corrective actions on reoccurring faults.
Prioritise breakdowns and maintain focus on your nominated production area.
Fault-find efficiently using technical documentation and machine history.
Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure minimal downtime.
Train operators in minor maintenance and assist in major repair tasks.
Maintain machinery to a high standard in line with safety and quality expectations.
Contribute to continuous improvement and reduction of engineering downtime.
Candidate Profile:

Time-served engineering apprenticeship (preferred).
Multi skilled Engineer with either electrical or mechanical bias.
Experience in food, FMCG, or packaging manufacturing is highly desirable.
Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills are essential.
