A leading UK-based manufacturer and service provider of Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and district heating systems. The organisation has recently undergone a strategic merger and secured investment from a prominent European energy venture capital firm, positioning it for significant growth and innovation in the energy services sector.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Head of Services and Maintenance to join our team in Chessington. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Director of Services, and will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our service delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Services and Maintenance department, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
  • Manage monthly board reporting, financial performance tracking, and service metrics.
  • Oversee the implementation of Joblogic service management software.
  • Drive change management initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including tenants, senior executives, and external partners.
  • Ensure technical compliance and service quality across HIUs and district heating networks.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven background in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering.
  • Extensive experience in services and maintenance leadership roles.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing KPIs and SLAs.
  • Familiarity with Joblogic or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Assertive leadership style with a focus on accountability and results.
  • Willingness to travel to Glasgow and Bournemouth 1–2 days per month.
