What You'll Do
In this role, you'll manage end-to-end materials and procurement activities to keep production running on schedule, from purchase orders to inventory control to customer delivery coordination.
- Support kitting activities and material readiness for production
- Perform physical inventory processes and develop cycle count initiatives
- Label materials in accordance with quality and traceability standards
- Execute SAP transactions including reservations and goods issue postings
- Maintain backorder reports and other material tracking systems
- Create production travelers and compile drawing/documentation packages for manufacturing
- Support scheduling and planning activities for lab operations
- Participate in daily production meetings, planning sessions, and forecast reviews
- Create and manage Purchase Requisitions,and Purchase Orders within SAP
- Maintain PO documentation within the electronic document management system
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery commitments and expedite materials as needed
- Coordinate shipping readiness and documentation to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate with customers regarding material availability and delivery schedules
- Prepare commercial invoices and packing lists per customer requirements
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, materials management, or production planning
- Experience in a low-volume, high-mix, or customized manufacturing environment
