This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in criminal justice, probation, or residential support who is passionate about helping individuals reintegrate safely into the community.

About the Role As a Residential Assistant, you will support individuals transitioning from custody back into community life. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, structured environment while encouraging positive behaviour and rehabilitation. You will play a key part in supervising residents, supporting daily routines, and ensuring compliance with Approved Premises rules and procedures.

Supervising residents and monitoring their movements in and out of the building

Conducting curfew, wellbeing, and room checks

Enforcing Approved Premises rules and responding to breaches

Supporting risk management plans and reporting concerns appropriately

Carrying out drug and alcohol testing where required

Maintaining accurate records, incident reports, and case notes

About You The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable or complex individuals, ideally within a residential setting or the criminal justice system. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage challenging behaviour, and a proactive approach to teamwork are essential.
