The Opportunity:Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Tooling Maintenance Engineer to join our established engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on the maintenance, repair, and development of injection mould tools, supporting high-performance manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine tooling maintenance to ensure maximum uptime of injection moulds

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on tooling and perform repairs as required

• Use conventional machining techniques including lathe work, milling, grinding, and spark erosion

• Manufacture tools, jigs, and fixtures to support the wider engineering and production teams

• Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings with precision

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

• Operate a variety of machine tools and workshop equipment

• Support the Tooling & Maintenance Manager and Team Leader with additional tasks as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Strong background in injection mould toolmaking and maintenance

• Skilled in toolroom machinery and conventional machining methods

• Able to fault find, repair, and maintain injection moulds efficiently

• Competent in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

• A proactive and hands-on approach with strong attention to detail

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment preferred
