The Opportunity:Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Tooling Maintenance Engineer to join our established engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on the maintenance, repair, and development of injection mould tools, supporting high-performance manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine tooling maintenance to ensure maximum uptime of injection moulds

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on tooling and perform repairs as required

Use conventional machining techniques including lathe work, milling, grinding, and spark erosion

Manufacture tools, jigs, and fixtures to support the wider engineering and production teams

Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings with precision

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Operate a variety of machine tools and workshop equipment

Support the Tooling & Maintenance Manager and Team Leader with additional tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:

Strong background in injection mould toolmaking and maintenance

Skilled in toolroom machinery and conventional machining methods

Able to fault find, repair, and maintain injection moulds efficiently

Competent in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

A proactive and hands-on approach with strong attention to detail

Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment preferred
