Academics Canterbury are seeking an experienced Early Years Foundation Specialist's to support primary schools across East Kent, focusing on the vital transition from nursery to reception class. As an Early Years Foundation Specialist, you will:

Support children as they transition smoothly from nursery into reception
Create nurturing, engaging, and play-based learning environments
Deliver lessons in line with the EYFS framework, focusing on social, emotional, and academic readiness
Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure each child thrivesWhat we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYFS specialist qualification
Proven experience in Early Years, particularly transition stages
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
A warm, creative, and resilient approach to supporting young learners
