• Compose memos, letters, departmental correspondence, projects, reports, documents and disciplinary notices as needed or required. • Maintains confidential files on employment, labor, safety training, workers compensation and employee records. • Provide assistance with Labor Relations activities. • Post, interview and assist departments in filling hourly positions internally and conduct external searches for hourly personnel as required or assigned. Assist Human Resources Manager as required or requested, in assessing and communicating hourly manpower needs or requests. • Conducts new hire orientation and safety training for hourly, salaried and temporary personnel. Verifies benefit and payroll information for employees. • Coordinates various general facility training classes as required. • Assist the Human Resources Manager in maintaining company accident reports, workers compensation and OSHA Log. • Conducts formal investigations and documents findings for shift incidents related to accidents, safety issues, and disciplinary actions as assigned or required. • Consults with management, regarding employee discipline. Prepares, administers shift disciplinary write-ups. • Tracks attendance for hourly employees on a regular basis. • Post hours worked weekly for verification and communication to hourly employees. • Conducts forklift training classes and maintains forklift license log. • Assist all departments with resolution, interpretation and communication of labor relations issues that may arise. • Conducts monthly portable fire extinguisher inspection for KTPO and other safety inspections as may be requested or required. • Assures that the proper safety equipment and PPE is available on a daily basis for employee and visitor usage. • Distribution and tracking of annual vouchers for safety shoes and prescription eyeglass for employees. • Participate in the facility safety committee, act as a facility emergency responder, and serve in the emergency evacuation team as assigned or required. • Maintains plant bulletin boards and post all announcements and memos. • Support KTPO security requirement compliance as needed. Assure the issuance, monitoring and administration of employee, contractor and visitor access badges • Shall be responsible for safety and accident prevention. • Shall adhere to work, safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices such as; utilizing personal protective equipment and proper rattier in keeping with safety standards. • Comply with all ISO/TS 16949 and ISO-14001 procedures and work instructions related to your job description. • Performs all other functions as required; included are any work assignments relating to the efficient flow of work within KUKA Toledo Production Operations.
