Are you a confident and versatile HLTA looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking school? We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Doncaster that is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team from September 2025.

About the Role:

This full-time HLTA role involves working across the full primary age range—from EYFS to Year 6. You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons, support learning interventions, and provide classroom cover when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confidently cover lessons across EYFS to Year 6
  • Deliver engaging and effective learning experiences
  • Support pupils with a range of needs, including those with SEN
  • Implement Read Write Inc. (RWI) phonics sessions
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
What We’re Looking For:
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong curriculum knowledge across the primary phase
  • Experience delivering RWI phonics
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • A good understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • A flexible, proactive, and positive approach to teaching and learning
