Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring our students receive the education they deserve. Our Teaching Assistants provide an efficient and high-quality support service to students here at Kingswood Academy and champion teaching strategies for students.

You'll provide invaluable support to delivering an excellent education to every child, in every classroom, every day.You're someone who'll be able to:

  • Support and adapt learning for pupils in any phase.
  • Be robust, resilient and take pride in helping students who can sometimes find school life challenging.
  • Be flexible, positive and compassionate.

You're someone who has:

  • Have experience of working with young people.
  • Level 2 functional skills Maths and English or GCSE grade C/ 4 and above.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for working with young people.
  • Trained in/ or willing to complete Teaching Assistant training (level 3)
  • This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people.

We value the skills and dedication of our teaching assistants. To support the best outcomes for our students, we require a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). If you don't yet hold this qualification, don't worry! We'll invest in your development by enrolling you in our Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Programme, helping you gain the behaviours, skills and experience you need to thrive in the role.
