About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced Civils Working Supervisor to lead site teams across water and wastewater treatment projects. This is a hands-on role where you will both supervise and actively contribute to civils works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
 
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead site operatives on civils works including excavation, drainage, concreting, and reinstatement
Work alongside the team as a hands-on operative when required
Plan daily activities and allocate tasks effectively
Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
Coordinate plant, materials, and labour on site
Liaise with site managers, engineers, and clients
Monitor progress and report on productivity and any issues  Requirements Essential:

Strong background in civil engineering / groundworks
Previous experience in a supervisory or ganger role
Experience working on utilities or water infrastructure projects
Valid CSCS card
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
Full UK driving licence
Strong knowledge of health & safety practices
