Butler Rose are partnering with a large housing association client in the search for a Compliance Support Analyst to join their Compliance team. This is a three months temporary role with potential to go permanent, offering hybrid working and a pay up to £18.86 per hour PAYE. Location & Hours * Central London office: Tuesday-Thursday * 2 days working from home * Occasional monthly travel to SP * 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week (1-hour unpaid break) The role will support compliance activity within a regulated environment. This role suits someone with a basic understanding of compliance, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Housing sector experience is not required. Key Duties * Support the management of compliance activities under the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR), including reviewing role mapping and identifying which roles fall under the regime * Assist in improving and maintaining compliance procedures * Maintain and manage the Compliance Calendar, ensuring all external regulatory submissions are tracked and delivered on time * Add new compliance entries and maintain existing records, including monitoring overdue actions * Collect, analyse, and report compliance data, escalating deadlines and issues to Executive Boards (EBs) as required * Support the management of the Asset and Liability Register, including records over £100k * Work with the Regulator of Social Housing, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely updates * Manage user access, support workshops, and track overdue actions * Support quarterly, risk-based audit cycles, meeting with action owners to verify documentation and ensure records remain current * Gather and present high-quality information for senior stakeholders About You * Understanding of compliance in a regulated environment * Detail-oriented with strong data and organisational skills * Confident communicator, able to work with stakeholders at all levels * Proactive, approachable, and keen to learn If you are interested in this opportunity and are looking for further information, please reach out to Cerys Smith.
