With a specialism in commercial office and datacentres projects, they also work in public, retail, health, education, leisure, residential and pharmaceutical sectors. Their experience ranges from small work contracts circa £500k to major projects in excess of £40M.

Key to Their success is the development of good working relationships with their clients. As a result, they benefit from a large amount of repeat business. Their client base includes main contractors such as: Lend Lease, Sir Robert McAlpine, ISg and McLaren. They also have excellent relationships with end users including: UBS and Kings College London.

Senior M&E Project Manager - Salary up to £90,000 (DOE) + £5,000 Car Allowance + Full Travel Expenses + Pension (4%/8%) + Private Healthcare + Bonus

Role:

Based in Hemel Hempstead the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a £10M project. Reporting to a project director the position will be supported by a team of construction managers and supervisors. You will be expected to take the project from pre-construction through to handover. Relationship management, team coordination and project reporting are key to this position.

Project:

New Build data centre in Hemel Hempstead, with an MEP Value in the region of £30M, you will be working within a large multidisciplined team, alongside other project managers.

Role/Responsibilities:

* Tender review/validation

* Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants)

* Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant

* Technical submittals

* RFIs - Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors

* Value Engineering where applicable

* Programming of works - using MS Project or Asta project

* Health & Safety management (RAMs)

* Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey.

* Management of variations

* Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors)

* Progress meetings with sub-contractors, client and internal meetings

* Overseeing commissioning stages

* Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover

The ideal candidate:

* Will be familiar working in a fast pace environment

* Experience working in the data centre sector

* Experience managing projects to a minimum of £5M within your own discipline

* A minimum 5 years' experience in a management role

* Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as ISg, Lend Lease, Sir Robert McAlpine and Mace.

* The candidate will show longevity in previous employment
