Hours: 7:30 - 4:30 Mon-Thurs/ 7:30- 12:30 Fri (Optional overtime available)

Salary: £13ph (OT paid at time and a half)

I am proud to be working on behalf of a small, friendly company in Hull who are experts in sheet metal fabrication and finishing. They provide customers with a 'one-stop-shop' supporting them in the design of their products, fabrication and finishing all to a high-quality standard.

We are looking for a hard-working individual to ensure a smooth delivery service which

would be at the most four drops a day. Deliveries are usually local, York, Manchester and Darlington and furthest would be the lake district. This role also involves General Operative duties when required which could involve operating machinery and equipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Safe Driving - Delivering goods to multiple locations and routes, safely and efficiently. Adhering to traffic laws and maintaining the vehicle in good condition.

Route Navigation - Using navigation systems, maps and knowledge to reach destinations efficiently.

Vehicle Maintenance - Performing regular checks, reporting issues and ensuring the vehicle is maintained.

Loading and Unloading - Safely loading and unloading the vehicle.

General operative duties to be carried out when required. - General operative to perform various duties to support production, assembly and overall factory operations. This may include operating machinery, product assembly, quality control checks and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Machine Operation - Operating machinery and equipment as assigned, following safety protocols and guidelines.

Quality Control - Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards, reporting any defects.

Material Handling - Moving and storing raw materials and finished goods.

Cleaning and Maintenance - Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace, cleaning equipment and reporting maintenance issues.

Assisting Other Team Members - Providing support and assistance to other colleagues as required, including learning new tasks.

Following Instructions - Adhering to company policies and procedures and following instructions from supervisors.

Safety - Adhering to health and safety regulations, wearing appropriate PPE and reporting hazards.

What you will need:

* Full Clean UK Driving Licence.

* Aged Over 21 for insurance purposes.

* Physically Fit.

* Reliable and punctual.

* No experience necessary - Full training will be provided.
