Trade Waste HGV Driver - Class 2

Vanta Staffing Slough is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Trade Waste HGV Driver on behalf of our client based in Colnbrook.

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join as a single-person crew covering a regular commercial trade waste round. This role starts at 04:00 AM, Monday to Friday. It is physically demanding, so applicants must be comfortable with early starts and working outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year.

As a driver, you will operate various LGV vehicles to collect and empty trade waste bins from commercial clients across Colnbrook and London. While previous experience in trade waste collection is beneficial, it's not essential, as full training will be provided.

This is a permanent position offering an immediate start for the right candidate — with excellent pay and career potential!

Requirements:

Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
Valid CPC and Tacho Card
Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience (dustcart/refuse driving preferred)
Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR or IN convictions)
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Flexible, dependable, and good communication skills
Safety boots required

Responsibilities:

Drive and operate Class 2 HGV refuse vehicles
Work independently as part of a single-person crew
Complete daily waste collection rounds efficiently
Load and unload trade waste bins
Interact professionally with commercial customers
