TIG Welder Fabricator - Aluminium

South Kirkby | £15-£16 per hour | Permanent | Days

A globally recognised business in South Kirkby that designs and builds bespoke staging, set pieces, and stage machinery for the live entertainment industry is looking for a TIG Welder Fabricator. You'll be welding and fabricating aluminium structures for major tours, concerts, and live events worldwide.

What you'll be doing:

TIG welding aluminium components for stage structures and architectural features

Fabricating custom frameworks, fascia structures, and deck platforms

Working from engineering drawings and fabrication specifications

Using cutting, rolling, and bending equipment to form components

Conducting quality checks to ensure work meets specifications

Working to tight tolerances and high finish quality standards

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

What you need:

Proven TIG welding experience (essential)

Aluminium welding experience (strongly preferred)

Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings

Competent with fabrication tools and machinery (saws, grinders, drills, press brakes)

Experience with hand tools and precision measuring equipment

MIG welding capability beneficial but not essential
