An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French and/or Spanish) to join a thriving, dynamic, and friendly secondary school in South Leicester. This well-regarded school is seeking a passionate and motivated MFL teacher to deliver French and/or Spanish up to Key Stage 4 (GCSE) and become an integral part of a successful and supportive MFL department.
In recent years, the school has undergone a significant transformation and continues to build on its strong reputation within the local community. With modern facilities, a well-structured curriculum, and a supportive senior leadership team, both staff and students are well positioned to achieve their full potential. Examination outcomes have improved dramatically, reflecting the school's commitment to high standards and continuous development.
The MFL department is housed in a newly designed area, featuring high-quality classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Teachers benefit from access to ICT suites, enabling the delivery of engaging, interactive, and multimedia-rich lessons that inspire students both in and out of the classroom. Due to internal promotion, the Head of MFL is now looking to welcome a French and/or Spanish specialist to the team.

The Role:

Teach French and/or Spanish at KS3 and KS4

Deliver engaging and effective GCSE lessons

Support student progress and achievement

Work collaboratively within a high-performing MFL department

The Ideal Candidate:

A qualified teacher of French and/or Spanish (QTS preferred)

Experience teaching up to KS4 (or an ECT/NQT seeking their first post)

A dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated practitioner

A strong track record or clear potential for delivering outstanding lessons
