Dot have partnered exclusively with a fast-growing, £20m turnover UK subsidiary of a European group, to recruit a Financial Controller. This is a key hire with full responsibility for the finance function. You'll report to the Group Finance Director and manage a team of four, covering all core finance operations while supporting the board with commercial insight and decision-making.The business has a strong pipeline of major projects and significant growth planned over the next 2–3 years - so this role offers real scope to influence and shape how finance supports that expansion. Key responsibilities:

• Full monthly and year-end close, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and board packs
• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Building and maintaining cashflow forecasts and liquidity planning
• Preparation of statutory accounts and managing the audit process
• Overseeing VAT returns and supporting corporation tax compliance
• Business partnering with board and operational leaders - presenting financials, supporting planning and investment decisions
• Leading and developing a team of 4
• Reviewing and improving financial controls, processes, and reporting
• Driving systems development and reporting improvements
• Supporting appraisals of new business opportunities and investment planning

Key Requirements

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Experience in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role
• Strong reporting and forecasting skills, with a good technical foundation
• Commercially aware and confident engaging at board level
• Proven team leadership experience
