Starting in September, this is a full-time opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with special educational needs.Whether you're an experienced SEN TA or a graduate with a background in psychology, education, or youth work, this role offers a rewarding pathway into SEND support within a nurturing and supportive school environment.Key Responsibilities:* Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH* Work 1:1 or in small groups to deliver targeted interventions, both in and out of the classroom* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to implement EHCPs and support plans* Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development* Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet individual needs* Track and report on pupil progress and wellbeing* Promote inclusion and help create a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environmentRequirements:* Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in school or another setting)* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learning and behaviour* Strong communication and teamwork skills* A genuine interest in education and a desire to work with children with additional needs* Relevant qualifications or training (e.g. CACHE, Level 2/3 TA, psychology degree) are desirable* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfareIf you are an SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting every learner to thrive, we want to hear from you.
