Plumbing Lecturer Opportunity - Vocational Education

We are working in partnership with a leading further education provider to recruit a passionate and experienced Plumbing Lecturer to join their Construction and Building Services department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumbing professional or experienced lecturer to step into a rewarding teaching role, delivering high quality training and helping shape the next generation of tradespeople.

About the Role

You will be part of a supportive, forward thinking team focused on delivering hands-on, practical education that aligns with current industry standards. The role involves teaching across a range of plumbing qualifications including Level 1 full-time courses and Level 3 apprenticeships, and includes both classroom instruction and practical workshop delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging, industry-relevant training to students at various levels

* Cover practical and theoretical aspects of plumbing including pipework, drainage, central heating, and environmental technologies

* Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and support student development

* Collaborate with employers to enhance apprenticeship and placement opportunities

* Offer guidance and pastoral support to ensure learner success

What We Are Looking For

* A recognised plumbing qualification and significant industry experience

* Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential - full training and support to gain teaching qualifications will be provided

* A genuine enthusiasm for the trade and a desire to pass on your knowledge

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate learners

Location and Flexibility

Teaching will take place across multiple campus sites in the region. While hybrid working is not currently standard, there may be some flexibility for part-time or specialist roles.
