Our client, a Merseyside council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Deliver statutory social work services to children in need, those subject to child protection and care proceedings, in line with legislation, policy and court timescales.
• Undertake direct work with children and young people to understand their lived experience and ensure their voice informs assessment and planning.
• Complete high-quality assessments and risk analysis using recognised frameworks, tools, theory and research.
• Develop, implement and review SMART plans and interventions with families and multi-agency partners to improve outcomes.
• Work effectively with Legal Services and the Courts, including report writing and attendance at hearings, reviews and conferences.
• Maintain accurate, timely and GDPR-compliant case records and undertake statutory visits, care planning and permanence planning for children looked after.

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
• Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
