Position:  SEN Teacher - KS3/KS4

Salary: £32,916.00 - £45,350.00 (in line with national teacher pay-scale calculated on a daily basis)

Location: Blackpool (FY3)

Vida Education are working alongside a SEN school located in the Blackpool (FY3) area to find an experienced, enthusiastic qualified teacher with a SEN specialism, to work within the KS3 and KS4 provision. The school support students with social emotional & mental health issue (SEMH) who often present with challenging behaviours. The position is to cover a maternity leave for the full academic year.

Cater for children from ages 7-16
Children present with SEMH and/or complex needs within the provision
OFSTED rated GOODRequirements:   

UK QTS in essential
Strong behavioural management skills are essential
Prior experience working with children SEND including Challenging behaviours
Effective and confident behaviour management skills
Willing to undergo full clearance procedure. Including but not limited to; DBS checks, proofs of address, references and right to work checks.YOU WILL NEED TO

Have UK Right to Work Status.
Hold a TA qualification or have relevant work experience.
Complete a registration with Vida Education which includes holding a current Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new ENHANCED DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
