Part time Accounts Assistant - Mansfield - £26,000 - £28,000 pro rata
 
Chase & Holland are proud to be working with, a long-established and highly respected business based in Mansfield, who are looking to recruit a friendly and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a rare opportunity that's become available due to a well earned retirement coming up.
Working in a small, supportive team and reporting directly to the directors of the business, this role would suit someone with solid all-round accounts experience who enjoys working in a hands on, varied role.

Package & Benefits:

Salary up to £28,000 (pro rata)
Part time hours (3 days per week)

Long term stability in a close knit teamAccounts Assistant Responsibilities:

Take charge of the Sales Ledger process
Chase overdue payments over the phone and by email
Input of invoices onto the Sage 50 system
Manual invoice processing
Daily bank reconciliations
Support with the month end process
Run a small payroll for 20 staffHours:

Part time 3 days per week totalling around 20 hours in total.
Days can be flexible but Wednesday, Thursday & Friday are preferredRequired Skills & Experience:

Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
Experience of running a small payroll
Confident using Sage 50 and Excel
High attention to detail with a methodical approach
