PERMANENT role for a Children's Social Worker in Merseyside.

SALARY: £42,839 - £44,075 per annum
TEAM: Children Looked After, Children with Disabilities, Child Protection
HOURS: Full time and part time hours available
CAR DRIVER: Yes
Hybrid working - typically 3 days in the office

Social Worker - Children Looked After
This vacancy is in the children looked after team. The team is responsible for managing cases of children who are looked after by the local authority, subject to full care orders or are who are in care proceedings.

You will work with children who are looked after by the local authority, ensuring their care plans are robust, child-centred, and focused on long-term wellbeing

* Manage a caseload of looked after children and young people

* Develop, implement, and review care plans in line with statutory requirements

* Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and reports

* Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies

* Support permanency planning including fostering, adoption, or reunification

* Participate in court proceedings where required

We also have positions in other Teams (children with Disabilities and Child Protection)

Social Worker Requirements

- CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work and/or completion of ASYE or 3 years experience
- Current Social Worker England registration
- Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
- Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
