Care Team Leader – Day Shifts
Hourly Rate: £15
Hours: Full-time (3 to 4 shifts per week) | 07:00 – 19:00
Job Type: Permanent | Day Shifts

 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Team Leader to join a reputable care home team on day shifts. You’ll be leading by example, ensuring high standards of person-centred care, supporting staff, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for residents.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Health and Social Care
  • At least 2 years' experience in a care home or nursing home setting
  • Experience in a team leader or senior care role
  • Excellent knowledge of person-centred care planning
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to pass a Care Character Assessment
  • Confident communicator with strong leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise care assistants and support staff
  • Support the development and regular review of resident care plans
  • Maintain compliance with CQC and safeguarding standards
  • Liaise with families, professionals, and external agencies
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date care records and reports
  • Foster a positive team culture through meetings, appraisals, and training
  • Act as a senior point of contact for residents and their families
