Job Title: Team Leader / Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £29,000 - £33,000 (dependent on experience)
Shifts: 2 on, 4 off (Full-time, Permanent)

Children's residential home in Stoke-on-Trent is recruiting for experienced Team Leaders and Children's Residential Support Workers (CRSW). This is a great opportunity to join a stable and supportive service that values consistency, high standards, and professional development.

We are seeking individuals with a genuine passion for supporting young people and a solid background in residential childcare.

Key Requirements:

Experience in a UK children's residential setting is essential

*

Driving licence required - you will not be asked to use your own vehicle for transporting young people, as a company vehicle is provided

*

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is preferred; those working towards it will be considered

*

Clear understanding of safeguarding, challenging behaviour, and trauma-informed practice

*

Able to work 2 on / 4 off shift pattern consistently

CRSW salary: starting from £29,000

Team Leader salary: up to £33,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Company vehicle provided for transporting young people - no use of your own car

Limited sick pay available after probation

Regular shift pattern - 2 on, 4 off

Responsibilities Include:

Building professional, trusting relationships with young people

*

Supporting emotional regulation, routines, education and life skills

*

Working closely with colleagues to follow care plans and behaviour management strategies

Maintaining accurate and timely records in line with regulatory requirements

As Team Leader: taking responsibility for shifts, supervising staff, and helping drive consistent practice and high standards
