Salary: £45000 - £55000/annum

Our client is a dynamic and growing construction company renowned for delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects across the joinery sector.

With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, they're looking for an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a critical role in the financial management of their projects.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from initial estimates to final accounts. You'll work closely with the project management team, subcontractors, and clients to ensure value is delivered and costs are controlled throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates and budgets

Conduct cost analysis, risk assessments, and value engineering

Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and payments

Track project progress and ensure costs remain within budget

Prepare and present regular financial reports and forecasts

Support contract administration and resolve commercial issues

Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry - joinery background is preferred

Strong knowledge of both residential and commercial project delivery

Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement methods

Excellent negotiation, financial, and analytical skills

Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
