Looking for a role where you can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact? This 6-month Finance Administrator contract offers exactly that. You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team in modern offices, helping them through a busy period that includes a major system migration and year-end preparation. If you’re experienced in transactional finance and want a role that keeps you busy and varied, this could be the perfect fit.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for: - Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliations
- Supporting the preparation of payment runs and postings
- Tracking and maintaining financial data during system migration
- Processing expenses and company credit cards
- Assisting with sales ledger tasks as required
- Providing ad hoc administrative support to the finance team
What you will need: - Previous experience in a finance or accounts role, covering purchase ledger and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
- Confident using accounting systems (experience with Sage 50 is an advantage)
- Good Excel skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly
- A reliable, proactive approach and ability to start at short notice
