Service Engineer

Odin Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Service Engineer to join an experienced and growing technical services team covering the Brentford area. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AV, lighting, access control, and automation systems.

As a Service Engineer, you'll attend client sites to investigate faults, perform repairs, and provide high-quality technical support. You'll act as the face of the business, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring systems are running smoothly. Your day-to-day work will involve diagnosing problems, carrying out system maintenance, training end users, and reporting back on completed tasks.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be confident working with AV systems, including DSPs, HDMI, projectors, amplifiers, RF/satellite systems, and lighting control. A good understanding of IP networks, basic soldering, and AV schematics is also important. You'll need to be well-presented, proactive, and capable of working independently under pressure.

A valid UK driving licence and ECS card are essential, along with a flexible approach to travel and working hours. Certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, and Avixa CTS are desirable but not essential.
