Our client, a leading manufacturer of technically advanced and intelligent power amplifiers that support activities in the dynamic, multi domain integration of Electronic Warfare environments are looking to recruit an Electronic Assembler. Excellent opportunities for progression for the right candidate

Candidates MUST be able to pass a Security Clearance check.

Position Overview:

As an Electro Mechanical Assembler, you will report directly to the Quality Control Manager, and the Factory Manager and your primary responsibility will be building sub-assemblies, power amplifiers, and whole systems, all of which are produced within the Factory.

Primary responsibilities:

* Ensure all customer requirements are met within the company's ethos of 'Zero defects, remember why'.

* Electro mechanical assembly that includes, but is not limited to:

* Build power amplifiers in volume from a specific document.

* Build sub-assemblies from build documents and drawings

* Build Systems from build documentation

* Maintaining accuracy at all times, whilst working to time constraints and achieving daily/weekly targets

* Record and maintain records, both electronically and on hard copy, of work completed

Minimum requirements:

* Previous experience of Electro mechanical manufacturing

* Proven history of soldering to IPC 610.

* Current IPC 610 Certification would be advantageous but not essential.

* Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and re-work.

* IPC 610 knowledge would be advantageous.

* Computer literate

* Must be able to pass BPSS Clearance

Working hours:

8.30am-5pm, Monday-Friday - 40 hour week

Salary:

Up to £35,000.00 per year - salary dependant on experience

Interviews will involve a practical assessment which will help assess your practical skills level.

Employment will be subject to the successful passing of BPSS clearance.
