Kenny Recruit are seeking an ambitious and experienced finance professional to join one of our clients at a pivotal time in their group's journey. This highly visible, varied, and challenging role offers the opportunity to contribute across several high-growth businesses within the group and you will work directly with both the CFO and Founder. This company are a consultancy business who specialise in business strategy, investment support, and risk management.

This is a newly created role offering significant scope for impact and professional growth within a dynamic, expanding group. They are a high-growth group of companies and therefore it will be challenging but highly rewarding opportunity.

* Pay: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits + study support if needed

* Location: Clapham Junction - 3/4 days in the office required.

* Working hours: 9:00am - 5.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide strategic analysis and deliver accurate, insightful, and actionable information to the group, driving improvements across the board.

* Execute day-to-day finance tasks, including posting to Xero, payment runs, budget and cash flow management, and financial modelling to better understand the business.

* Ensure financial compliance and help shape the future structure, strategy, and direction of the group.

Main Duties:

* Ensure all reporting deadlines for the business are met.

* Oversee all financial control activities, including the month-end close process, preparation and review of management accounts, comprehensive balance sheet substantiation, and VAT and other tax reporting and submissions.

* Ensure timely delivery of KPIs for financial covenant reporting purposes.

* Build effective working relationships with cross-functional business partners to drive process improvements, enhance financial performance, and deliver key business metrics and insights for informed decision-making.

* Design and implement financial process changes to drive efficiency by leveraging the latest technologies.

* Review, develop, and enforce financial policies and procedures to control and manage group assets.

* Continuously improve analytical processes to facilitate commercial insights.

* Review and monitor completion of all annual financial statements, including liaison with external accountants.

* Perform other ad-hoc finance-related duties as required.

* Ensure financial reporting and legal compliance (e.g., VAT, CT, P11d, PSA, PAYE & NI, ONS, HMRC surveys).

Requirements:

* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is preferable. If not you MUST only have a couple of exams remaining

* Legal industry experience is an advantage but not essential

* Exceptional system skills

* Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel

* Enjoys challenge and change
