About the Role: Reed Education is seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Cover Teachers to join our team and work across various SEN schools in Sheffield. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to supporting students with special educational needs and ensuring they receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to the needs of SEN students.
• Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the well-being and progress of students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience working with SEN students in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a DBS on the update system or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different school environments.
