Job Title: Assembly Operative

Location: Welwyn Garden CityRole Type: Mon – Thurs, Day Shifts

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Role Overview We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Assembly/Production Operative to build and test a range of manufactured products. The role involves using mechanical and hand tools, working independently or within a team, and ensuring build times, quality, and accuracy meet company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical items
• Read and interpret assembly documentation
• Carry out testing and quality checks
• Meet production targets and deadlines
• Ensure products meet quality and customer requirements

Key Skills & Experience

• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience working from materials or assembly documentation
• Understanding of quality standards and measurement tools
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Team player with a flexible approach
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
