My client is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen their team, delivering high-quality audits, identifying risks, and driving improvements across key business areas
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audits, ensuring understanding of processes, risks, and controls with clear documentation
- Designs scope, approach, and testing strategy for key business and regulatory risks
- Performs and oversees audit testing; maintains high-quality working papers
- Identifies findings, delivers practical recommendations, and engages senior stakeholders
- Drafts impactful audit reports and monitors remediation of issues
- Coaches junior auditors and contributes to audit methodology improvements
- Supports ad-hoc reviews, investigations, and special projects
About You
- Qualified or part qualified accountant – ACCA, ACA, or equivalent
- Proven audit experience, internal or external within Financial Service or Insurance
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid knowledge of internal audit standards, techniques, and accounting principles
