Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Newbury for a 4-week temporary assignment. This role requires someone who is confident using computers, able to complete physical tasks, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocating and organising warehouse stock
• Inputting data into systems and updating spreadsheets
• Heavy lifting and manual handling
• Breaking down cardboard and general warehouse housekeeping
• Relocating items around the warehouse
• Supporting stock control and basic inventory tasks
• Following health and safety procedures
• Completing general warehouse duties as required

Requirements

• Computer confidence (basic data entry & spreadsheet use)
• Physically fit – heavy lifting involved
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail
• Previous warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
• Available for the full 4-week assignment
