Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber / Bathroom Fitter to join an established maintenance contractor delivering bathroom installation works within social housing properties across the New Forest area.

This is a short-term contract role, ideal for a reliable and skilled tradesperson with experience working in occupied and void residential properties, delivering high-quality bathroom refurbishments to programme and specification.

Key Responsibilities

Complete full bathroom installations within social housing properties

*

Carry out all associated plumbing works including pipework, sanitary ware installation, and testing

*

Undertake rip-out and preparation works including removal of existing bathrooms

*

Install baths, showers, toilets, basins, and associated fittings

*

Complete basic multi-trade tasks where required (e.g. minor tiling, patch plastering, boxing-in)

*

Ensure all works are completed to a high standard, in line with specifications and deadlines

*

Work in occupied properties, maintaining professionalism and minimising disruption to tenants

*

Adhere to all health & safety regulations and site procedures

*

Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

*

Communicate effectively with tenants, supervisors, and office teams

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Plumber / Bathroom Fitter within social housing or domestic maintenance

*

NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) - highly desirable

*

Experience completing full bathroom installations independently

*

Strong multi-trade knowledge advantageous

*

Ability to work efficiently to deadlines and manage workload independently

*

Good customer service and communication skills

*

Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have own transport (van not essential)

Must have own tools

*

Ability to pass a DBS check
