Paralegal / Legal Executive - Land Development & New Homes

The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal or Legal Executive to join a busy and growing Land Development & New Homes team in Newark.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in conveyancing and/or land development work, or those with a residential property background looking to transition into a more specialist area. You will work closely with experienced fee earners and partners, assisting on a varied caseload while developing your expertise in land development matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and supporting a caseload of land development and new homes matters
- Providing an ongoing, high-quality service to existing clients
- Assisting Partners and fee earners with business development activities
- Supporting the growth of the Land Development & New Homes team
- Producing fee income in line with agreed targets and objectives
- Maintaining accurate time recording and file management
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards
- Keeping up to date with changes in relevant law and practice
About You
Essential
- Experienced Paralegal or Legal Executive
- Background in conveyancing, residential property, or land development work
- Strong understanding of conveyancing processes (including part exchanges)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to client care
Desirable
- Experience with case management systems (e.g. SOS Connect, Visualfiles or similar)
- Knowledge of land law, section agreements and infrastructure transactions
- Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations
- Audio typing / touch typing skills
