Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:- Processing 100–200 supplier invoices each week, ensuring everything is posted accurately
- Managing the full invoice approval process
- Preparing and collating mid-month and month-end payment runs for approval
- Performing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and posting cash receipts
- Handling supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
- Liaising with suppliers, including managing leasing arrangements
- Acting as a go-between for buyers and sellers, processing daily deals
- Managing the shared finance inbox and responding to queries
- Supporting the team with ad hoc finance tasks and site queries
- Ensuring all transactions are processed accurately in GBP
What you will need:- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn and progress
- Resilience and adaptability- ready to get stuck in and thrive during change
- Basic Excel skills and the ability to pick up new finance systems (experience with Xero or Access Dimension is a plus)
- Either a relevant degree or around a year’s experience in a similar finance, accounts assistant, or purchase ledger role
- Willingness to work across different areas of finance and shadow other teams
- Previous experience in a finance support role (such as Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, or Purchase Ledger Clerk) is desirable but not essential
