Site Manager - New Build / Construction

Up to £55,000 + Company Van / Car Allowance + Bonus

TS Recruitment are working with a reputable Contractor who build new homes and commercial premises across the East Midlands.

Currently recruiting a permanent Site Manager for a new build, large office project. Consisting of steel frame. The Contractor are responsible for delivering public and private sector lead projects across the region. The Site Manager operate as part of an established operational construction team focusing on delivering high-quality, interesting projects.

Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day site operations, including scheduling, subcontractor management, and material delivery.

* Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and health and safety regulations.

* Monitor project progress and identify any issues or areas for improvement.

* Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards.

* Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and project schedules.

* Manage relationships with clients and other stakeholders and ensure that all project-related communications are handled in a timely and professional manner.

* Develop and maintain project budgets and manage costs throughout the project lifecycle.

* Conduct regular safety inspections and identify and address any safety hazards or risks.

* Manage project closeout activities, including inspections, punch lists, and final documentation.

Person

* Current or previous roles as a Site Manager working on behalf of a Tier 1 construction main contractor or residential housebuilding background will also be considered.

* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid certifications.

* Dedicated, ambitious individual who takes pride in their work.

* Ability to operate as part of a large, dynamic team.

* Proven ability and experience delivering new build projects

* NVQ level 6 is desirable, but not essential.

* IT literate.
