Salary: up to £75,000

Hours per week: 40, 9:00 - 17:00

Here at Willing Care, we are seeking a Nursing Home Manager for one of our very established clients.

Our client requires a passionate, enthusiastic Nursing Home Manager, to join and manage their friendly and welcoming team.

As a Nursing Home Manager, you will draw upon your extensive expertise and leadership skills, as you will be responsible for the running of all aspects of the home, ensuring it runs as efficiently as possible whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, care excellence, parallel with the commercial success of the home.

Requirements for the Nursing Home Manager:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN /RNLD)
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • Evidence of further relevant post-registration professional development.
  • Experience managing a Care/Nursing Home or within a similar position
  • Level 5 Management (Desirable)

The role of a Nursing Home Manager within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring that all members of staff provide excellent standards of support to residents, with a focus on positive outcomes and promoting choice
  • Promoting a positive safeguarding and learning culture, where there is openness and transparency
  • Ensuring that all care-plans are person-centred, reviewed and updated regularly
  • Maintaining a profitable service through cost control, effective use of resources and maintaining high occupancy levels
  • Ensuring that the Home achieves and remains complaint with regulatory standards and company policies
  • Ensuring all members of staff have completed mandatory and specialist training
  • Completing staff appraisals and supervisions , to support their continuous professional development
  • Completing internal and external audits and inspections of the service
  • Carrying out investigations of any alleged misconduct and abuse reported in the service and taking appropriate action
  • Building good working relationships with external agencies and the wider multi-disciplinary team
  • Recording all incidents and ensuring that it is reported to all relevant internal and external departments
