Registered Manager

Join our, dedicated provider of residential care for children and young people aged 7 to 17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. We are seeking a Registered Manager committed to creating a nurturing environment that supports our young residents' growth and well-being.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Fulfil the role of the Registered Manager as defined within the Care Standards Act and Children's Homes Regulations (England) 2015.
- Ensure high-quality care delivery, focusing on achieving the best outcomes for each child and young person within the home.
- Manage service delivery, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the children's care.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of individual care plans.
- Manage the home environment to be sensitive and appropriate to the needs of the children.
- Lead and support the team, ensuring professional development and adherence to company policies.
- Handle administrative and resource management tasks effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in residential childcare, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Thorough knowledge of the Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, and Children’s Home Regulations (England) 2015.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage budgets and staff rotas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in child protection and staff supervision.
